Chef Richard Beckel knows how to create a culinary masterpiece. With over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, including studying in France to refine his techniques, it’s no surprise that he can make unique and flavorful meals to satisfy even the most discerning tastes.
After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in NY, Chef Richard has had countless restaurant experiences that have made him into the culinary expert he is today. This includes being the Corporate Chef and C.O.O. of Hooked Seafood Restaurant, and the Executive Chef at the Caucus Room, one of Washington D.C.’s premier power dining spots.
“All Americans descend from somewhere else,” says Chef Richard. “I believe in studying the other cuisines of the world, using recipes from each and incorporating their different ideas and techniques to create a new dish, influenced by many, but forged into the world of American cuisine.”
And that is exactly what Chef Richard has done at The American Tap Room – fused his knowledge and experience of different cuisines to create the ultimate American grill menu.
